ARCHIVE HUMBOLDT LAB DAHLEM   (2012-2015)

In her work as co-founder of the artists’ collective OPER DYNAMO WEST (est. 2006), Janina Janke investigates urban structures and striking spaces in Berlin and other cities. She thinks up and realizes spatial interventions, performances, and installations that operate at the crossroads between art, architecture, and science. In 2010 Janke was artist-in-residence at the Deutsche Akademie Rom Villa Massimo, Casa Baldi (Italy), received a project grant in 2009 from Akademie Schloss Solitude, and was grant-holder in 2008/09 of the pilot phase of the graduate school for arts and sciences at the Universität der Künste (UdK), Berlin.


Franziska Seeberg works as an independent theatre and video director. She is a member of the artists’ collective OPER DYNAMO WEST, for whom she has created numerous experimental music theatre projects, performances, and interventions in the urban space. Seeberg also regularly works for state theatres and municipal theatres. These include Hebbel am Ufer, Theater an der Parkaue, both in Berlin. For the 2008/2009 season, she received a year-long grant as part of FORMAT – Neue Wege in der Kultur, awarded by the Deutsche Bank Stiftung and the Thalia Theater of Halle.


Manuel Kinzer founded the production company Filmgestalten in 2007, and has produced a string of films, both narrative and documentary, since then. A graduate of the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie, Berlin, Kinzer spent a year working as assistant to Michael Ballhaus, before setting up his own company. Manuel Kinzer was the 2002-reciepient of the Bürger- Medienpreis, awarded by the state of Hessen.
